Help with automator

hi I am a new to using Mac. I have a little bit of understandng of automator workflows.

I have 25 text files (containing DNA sequence of A, T, G or C or N) that range in 80 mb to 2 mb size.

Each text file has lines with no paragraphs, no spaces, no special characters.

The following is what I would for automator to do.

1) Open the file with text edit, copy lines 1 - 10,000 and then paste that into a new text file (generated by automator itself) save the file with with file name ending 1 - 10000.

2) Do the same to the next 10,001 - 20,000 and so on until the end of the sequence.

Can someone please help me achieve this humongous task using automator?
