New Mac Trick: Pressing F5 on a word!

This is so important its going in Rumors and Findings!


Alright, I NEVER knew this existed. I seriously doubt many people do know this exists.

So I will have to let you all know!

If you have a word written in a text field (like the reply box below), and if the blinking curser is inside that word or next to the word (not in a space) and you press F5 a whole list of words pop up! These words are related somehow to the word you typed and if you select one of those words it automatically changes to that word!

Please someone tell me you didn't know that!

(still can't really think of a use for it unless my keyboard was broken but its still pretty neat!)

In mac os x... what do you mean 2008 or 2004? I suppose leopard may be when it was introduced I have never tried it or stumbled upon it before in my life...

oh, yeah its not for office. It may work in office however it also works in safari and a handful of other apps I have found like textedit
